Don't do it. I bought a refurbished one once and when it came it was still connected to someone else's apple account, meaning they could see the location of the apple pencil while I had it. It's priced for $58 (orginal price $97 on std discount). It's a 10 month old pencil with both connector and nibs and the bill box.

I would not buy it. If there is another improved model on the market you will miss whatever problems that were corrected that made them bring out a new version. $58 is not a good deal in my opinion. If they would take $20 then do it. Offer than $20 and if they say $30, say $25 or leave it. I have never bought anything used that was trouble free. Or they could be one of those people who feels they have to have the latest and best and most expensive in which case they cast off would be worth buying, but not at almost the price of a new one.
