My understanding is that Poshmark did this because they discontinued priority shipping and sellers were complaining that they did not want to have to buy boxes. Poshmark handles shipping differently than most places do. They charge buyers a flat rate and they provide the shipping label free of charge to the seller. Up to now it was always a priority label but now it is a ground advantage label, which means no free boxes from the post office, and the sellers were pissed off. The main complaints I see now is that the boxes were not available soon enough. It's interesting that they managed to get USPS to produce the boxes, instead of just buying them themselves. Maybe they will eventually become available to all sellers for free, or at a low cost. More on reddit.com

I saw someone using these on YouTube. I could really use some free USPS GA boxes, so I went to usps website. Unfortunately, they aren’t listed there.
Are these real? Are they still available? If so, how does one get them?

This may be an unpopular opinion but I wish the post office didn’t offer “free” boxes. Nothing is free. If the boxes are free the rates are higher because of it. Perhaps Poshmark is subsidizing some of the cost for now but that is unsustainable, as was their “free” priority mail shipping. I buy some small boxes and poly bags from EBay but the vast majority of my items ship in used boxes with used packing material. This is better for the environment and FREE. Save your own. Have your friends and family and neighbors save them for you. I’ve trained mine to leave small boxes intact. Saves me tape and time. Talk to a local business about a regular pickup. Scrounge from a local recycling center. I promise if you do these things you’ll quickly have so many boxes of so many sizes and so much packing material you’ll fill up whatever space you have to store it all in.

The representative I spoke to was well aware of the free "ground advantage" boxes and mailers. All the following come in packs of 25. I was able to order 75 of each box and 100 of the mailers. If you need more, you can, that's just how much I wanted to start off with.
Box 1: 12 x 12 x 8.5
Box 2: 14 x 7 x 5
Poly Padded Bubble Bag: 12.5 x 9.5
Paper Padded: 14.5 x 20,5
Polybag: 14 x 17
I was told it would take 7-10 days to arrive.
Of course, they will ask you for your Poshmark closet name. Hope this helps! I was hung up on about 10 times, and finally on hold for about 30 minutes, and had a very helpful and pleasant representative.

Just posting a photo in regard to a question I had in a thread on here. I came in later in the day. So I’m unsure about other sizes being available. There was a stack of these sizes. But to compare; this one would be considered a large box. Dimensions included in the last photo. Post office clerk told me if we used the white ones, there’s a chance they can send it pack because it costs more. So beware. Happy Poshing!

Edit to the first edit: 😂these boxes are FREE! *I read the Poshmark update with my own two eyes and it says it’s FREE. Added Edit: someone on here (now deleted comments; idk why) was saying their post office was apparently telling people you have to pay for them. It was not my personal experience at my local USPS office. But mine verbally offered them for free. And they were located in a corner well away from the “for purchase” items. They physically showed me them and said these are the free ones. If they are not free; well.. kudos to my post office for their temporary misinformation. But just wanted to throw that out there about my personal experience.
