VacMaster VP112S Discontinued?!?
The VP210 and VP215 were also removed from the website after the tariffs went in to effect but have since returned so there is hope that the VP112S will be offered again. Unless the trade issues with China are resolved or they get manufacturing set up elsewhere I don't see the prices going back down soon.

December 29, 2020Vacmaster VP-112 Chamber Sealer seal bar no longer working
UPDATE: Ary VacMaster sent me a replacement main board. Ran about $40 with shipping. It was an adventure getting it installed but by no means complicated. The worst part is getting the glue they used to keep some of the connectors in place during shipping off the original board. I recommend having a buddy help you with the install so they can keep the stainless still tank elevated while you work on switching out the board, thus not needing to disconnect anything from the tank. With new board installed all is well again. Had nothing to do with the contacts. If you're in the same boat and the internet guided you to this post I recommend the board replacement, it could save your machine. The support at VacMaster said the main board is the most common thing that dies on the 112 and 112s. I may be able to help you. Mine just broke down but structurally, not mechanically. The plastic frame that the bottom seal and lid sets in broke. Everything else works great. It's the VP112, no S. It's too good of a machine to throw away.

The VP112 is the earlier model. There were a few issues where the lid was a bit flimsy. The VP112S is upgraded with a better lid (and possibly other items).
