I have about 3 of these cards. I’ve activated them all on the Vanilla website, called support and everything, but not a single website I’ve gone to accepts the cards when I try using them to checkout.
I also tried just using them to buy fast food, not even that works.
Anywhere I use the card simply declines it, so what am I supposed to do with them?

Use them on Amazon to buy an Amazon gift card (or whatever store you like to shop at) for the exact value of the Vanilla card and be done with it. Those things are a pain in the ass to use for miscellaneous purchases.

Simplest method is to use them in person, not online, someplace like a grocery store. If the gift card doesn't have enough balance to pay for your entire transaction, you can split payment between the gift card and another card or payment method, even in the self checkout lane.

Beware! do not buy vanilla egiftcard! worst customer service ever! so i bought egiftcard for my sister who visiting US from other country. I send her the egiftcard via email when she opened it its on hold so i called the customer service right away. I was expecting to get a refund right away since I bought it digitally I’ll get my money back right away but no. 1st call the customer service says within a month I’ll get a check. One month passed I called again customer service said within 7-10 business days still no check and up to now almost two months I still haven’t get any check from them. Save your money and do not spend anything from vanilla gift card. Worst customer service.
