I have used Gmail since 2019, more than 5 years ago. I used my phone to verify my identity. Gmail is the only Google service I ever signed on to. I don't think I have a full-blown Google account, unless Gmail gives me that by default.
Now I need to access my email from a new computer, which is not my computer, but on which I have my own personal local account. It is in a different location, on a different router, modem, and network from my computers, although it has the same ISP.
Gmail refuses to let me access my email unless I verify my identity. I can't get to my phone from the remote computer. My phone can't recieve a text message (at least not one sent by Google), and the Gmail website doesn't seem to have any provision to send the verification number as a regular audio phone call. When I get home, no call has been recieved at all. Caller ID would show if one had come, even if no message was recorded.
How can I verify my identity?
When I try to login to my gmail account I have issues. The weirdest thing is if I enter the email address, click continue, click forgot password, it sends a code to my work email, I enter that code (which you think would be enough to verify me) and still after i enter that code it wants a telephone number. I HAVE ENTERED OVER 10 DIFFERENT MOBILE NUMBERS some which have never been used for a google product ever and i get the same response "This mobile number cannot be used"
I just want some concrete support that tells me what I'm supposed to do from here.
When I use this link - https://accounts.google.com/signin/v2/usernamerecovery?theme=glif&flowName=GlifWebSignIn&flowEntry=ServiceLogin add my email address and my name it states "There’s no Google Account with the info you provided."
When I try to then sign up using my email address is says it is already in use. And my sons account also says this is the email address that is controlling his child account.
It is a Nothing Phone (2) - Nothing cannot help me as it is a google issue and Google have no customer chat support for me to talk to.
I'm stuck and seriously need help!
Hello, is it possible to verify an email address is yours using birth certificate, IDs and selfies?
Email address in question is literally my first and last name.
I remember the first password used for the email aswell, before changing it a bunch of times.
