Apple Watch Ultra 3 won’t work on Verizon… - Apple Community
I have US Mobile using Verizon‘s network. Although they offer an Apple Watch plan, the ultra three doesn’t seem to work because Verizon‘s network is only LTE for watches. I thought the ultra three would do LTE or 5G. Does anybody know what’s going on with this? More on discussions.apple.com

Apple doesn’t sell it anymore directly (discontinued), so I would imagine the carriers are only selling old stock. I doubt they’re manufacturing any more, with new watches expected soon.

August 13, 2023Verizon promised me a free apple watch with my iPhone. Now I’m being charged for it and they keep giving me the runaround.
Unless you were on Unlimited Plus, Welcome, Ultimate, the discount for adding a watch was $3.33 for 36 months which is $120 off. If you were on the new plans then your discount is $13.88 which covers the watch cost monthly meaning it costs you $0 for the watch, the service still costs money and if you get protection on the watch.
