(I did request this as an upgrade to the included 15 Pro): The device cost WAS offset by me trading in a mint condition 12 Pro Max w/ a new battery. The caveat here is that it required upgrading my line of service to Ultimate. A $35/month increase for 36 months. So, upgrading my device would ultimately cost me, at minimum, $1,260(excluding taxes and activation fees) over the course of the contract. So, over the retail cost of the phone. -iPad 9th Gen Cellular 64GB: retail price: $459.
