Once the phone becomes available for preorder it will be available on Verizon's website. Simply log in to your account and place your order after the preorder starts. While Verizon typically offers new Google Pixel phones, there's no official, confirmed date from Verizon specifically for the Pixel 10's availability. However, it's highly likely that Verizon will have the phones available for purchase and pre-order shortly after Google's official announcement and general release date. By the looks of it I would check back after 12 noon ET. Answer from N98270 on reddit.com

r/GooglePixel on Reddit: Has anyone done the numbers for Verizon vs Google trade in deals/offers on the Pixel 10/10P?
November 7, 2025 -

I think Verizon had a deal going on for existing users/customers where if they trade in a phone they'll get a $1000 credit over 36 months, essentially getting the phone for free. The downside is that if I were to want/get a new phone within the 3 years I would need to pay the remaining balance ($36 is credited per month with the trade ins).

The other option would just be to go with Google and trade in my old pixel, and make the two payments after my trade in is applied.

Anyone have any insight?

I'm not super phone savvy but I take a lot of pics and have used Pixel phones for the last 6 years. I also just signed up for google workspace for my small business, although I still use outlook and onedrive for personal. I'd like to upgrade to the 10 soon, and wondering what the difference is between buying at Google (I'd probably go to the retail store in Boston) vs buying at Verizon? I don't want to have to do much set up on my own, and I'm pretty sure I'd walk out of verizon with my phone all set up and ready to go. Would it be the same experience at the Google store? Is there any difference in deals/ pricing or anything else?

Very long time Verizon customer. I've always upgraded to a phone that's available in the store, but I want to get a Pixel 10 as quickly as possible.

Should I be able to pre-order in my store today after today's Made by Google event?

r/GooglePixel on Reddit: Verizon free Pixel 10 no-trade-in deal still available?
August 27, 2025 -

As of Friday 8/22, Verizon was offering a particularly good deal, where they'd give you $800 off basically any Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro model (credited over 36 months as usual), with *NO* trade-in required at all. The only requirement was that you had to have an Unlimited plan (any of them, including Unlimited Welcome, the cheapest), and be eligible for a phone deal the usual Verizon ways (just switched to Unlimited, adding a line, or 3 years have past). So that makes the $800 base model Pixel 10 free.

Strangely, that deal has now vanished from their website, even though the phones are all still on pre-order. Anybody know why? Is it still possible to get that deal somehow?

The deals WERE fully listed and explained at these URLs. As of today Tuesday 8/26, they no longer show the info:

r/GooglePixel on Reddit: A Pixel 10 Pro XL Review from someone with zero hardware issues
September 8, 2025 -

There's been a lot of hot takes and complaints about the Pixel 10 series, so I wanted to at least give one review as a person with zero hardware and software issues.

I got my Pixel 10 Pro XL the day after release from Verizon, 512GB Obsidian Black. As of now, I'm sitting at 7 charge cycles and getting through the day with about 30% battery left. That's about what I was getting with my iPhone 16e, so I'm happy with it. The performance has been good for what I do with it, which is playing GBA/GBC games on PizzaBoy, hating myself for continuing to train Gold Ship in Umamusume, and watching movies/TV on Tubi. Everything else I tend to use is all AI on the phone now that I'm really getting into what it offers. The AI daily brief podcast, Gemini in general, and NotebookLM get a lot of use throughout the day. I know these aren't specific to the Pixel, but I just like them and they keep my day streamlined. The main thing I like is that there isn't a bunch of duplicate apps and bloatware like on Samsung, OnePlus, and Motorola. I'm coming from a OnePlus 12 on the Android side (I rock an iPhone and Android daily) and I still have no idea why Android OEMs feel the need to load their own web browser, gallery, or 15 games that no one plays. This is my first non-"a" series Pixel phone, with my last one being the 7a, and it feels like coming home. Everything is where it should be, and there's nothing I need right out of the box.

The camera is the one thing I'm still not sold on though. The 7a's camera was really good for the price, and I feel like the 1x to 5x shots I'm taking with P10PXL are great, but 10x and beyond just don't look... right. There's a haze to them that I can't seem to figure out. If I use a tripod to stabilize the phone, the 10x to 20x shots are better, but still not where I would expect for a $1300 phone. I have a feeling more updates will change the way the shots are processed, but right now, I'm sticking to 0.5x to 5x for everything.

Other than that, I've had zero issues with wireless charging, battery, or anything really. No app crashes, no reboots, nothing. It's been a stellar phone for everything I throw at it.

r/GooglePixel on Reddit: Personal thoughts on Pixel 10 Pro
September 5, 2025 -

TLDR: P10P is a solid phone choice for most people, despite the plethora of complaints.

Just got my phone bought from T-Mobile yesterday. It was a free upgrade by trading in my Pixel 9. So, that's the relevant info to understand my perspective in owning the device.

I actually like the fact that basically nothing was changed between the P9 and P10. My old case fits my new phone. My unused screen protectors for my old phone fit my new phone. It's aesthetically a nice phone, so no real reason to change it. My view on this is that the physical form doesn't need to be changed (so long as no flaw is present) until an added feature requires a change. Ok, so why did I get a new phone that's pretty much the same as the old phone? Free upgrade, so why not? I am not switching from T-Mobile, so I have no concern in being locked in to a carrier for whatever amount of time. Also, I was able to get an increase in storage capacity because I couldn't afford the 256 GB when I got my Pixel 9.

The screen refresh rate feels smooth and reminds me of my OnePlus 11. I know that many have complained about this, but it seems pretty solid to me. I don't do much photography with my phones, so a functional camera is all that's necessary for me. The AI features are very intuitive. Google seems to be employing a "not broke, don't fix it" approach. If using a phone for basic online functions and communication, add in some streaming and such, Pixel 10 Pro is a "can't miss" phone.

So what is my purpose in writing this? Don't worry about all the negative reviews about Pixels, unless one of those issues is directly related to your personal usage for a phone. Most people will not be disappointed at all in choosing to get a P10P.

Disclaimer: It's perfectly fine if the phone isn't something that you like or doesn't meet your needs.

This is going to be a pretty simple review just to put a more moderate view out there, because if only the people with passion post, you end up with skewed results.

First, my background. I came to the pixel line from the Nexus brand. I snagged a pixel 1 when it came out and was happy enough to end up getting the 2, 3, 5, and 6. I liked the idea behind the pixel line and enjoyed what Google was doing.

Despite that, I am less of a fan of some of the directions Google is moving at the moment, and was on the fence on whether I was going to stay with the pixel brand for my upgrade from my aging Pixel 6.

That said I decided to give the 10 pro a try. I have to say that I actually really like the phone so far. It's not perfect, but it is easily the best phone I've ever owned. I like how it feels in the hand. I like the pics it takes. It looks great, and runs very smoothly. I'm even ok with most of the AI integration.

That said, I do not game on my phone and video is not as big a draw for me it seems to be to some people. The battery isn't amazing, but it is easily enough for me to use it indiscriminately all day and get to bed with somewhere between 45-50% battery.

Basically, if you are upgrading from something like the pixel 6, and aren't chasing the best hardware and looking to buy a phone every year to keep up, I think you are likely to enjoy this phone quite a lot.

r/GooglePixel on Reddit: Pixel Care+ (w/ loss & theft) vs Verizon Wireless Phone Protection for Pixel 10 Pro XL
July 11, 2025 -

Hello, I am still using my old Pixel 6 Pro, but I'm thinking about going ahead and updating to the 10. I have never bought insurance on a phone, because I always use a screen protector and an otterbox, but after watching my wife fumble around with my phone while on a vacation, on a lake, in a kayak, in Puerto Rico made me start thinking about it. I know the phones come with a year manufacturer warranty, so the real issue is the loss and theft coverage. So, of the 2 available, the one through Google or one through Verizon, just wanting to know which one is considered better?

Of the 2, the Verizon WPP is half the price, only covers the loss, theft and crack screens (which honestly, is all I need). Plus, I can fold the $7.95 into my monthly bill, which is also nice. But, I have heard that people have had issues and delays dealing with Verizon/Asurion. You get unlimited claims/year, however the price for each replacement phone is $279.

The Pixel Care+ (w/ loss & theft) is directly through the manufacturer (not sure if that is really a true benefit or not) but it is roughly double the price at $15, only 2 claims/year but each replacement is $99.

Both cover unlimited screen damage at $0/claim.

Hopefully, in a perfect world, I will never need to use insurance. But in the event I do. Which is easiest/quickest to file a claim and receive the replacement?

Thank you!

I was really excited about the Pixel 10, especially the Pro variant, but I’ll be skipping the upgrade this year—or maybe even switching to another flagship. There’s no real camera upgrade, no video improvements, just a bunch of AI tools that are already available online for free. And “Pro Res”? I can just use any free AI upscaler to get the same effect. Spending $1200 on this doesn’t feel worth it. Honestly, I’m disappointed—as a long-time hardcore Pixel fan.

reddit.com › r/googlepixel › switched from an iphone to google pixel 10 pro: first thoughts
r/GooglePixel on Reddit: Switched from an iPhone to Google Pixel 10 Pro: First Thoughts
September 3, 2025 -

Recently switched from an iPhone 15 Pro to the Google Pixel 10 Pro and here are my first thoughts:

The Good

  • I like how the phone feels in hand. Feels more full than the iPhone if that makes sense

  • the UI is nice and flexible. I like that I can customize the home screen and that the widgets are more interactive

  • Reactions in messages are a fun addition

  • the keyboard feedback is nice and feels like I'm actually typing on something. Additionally, backspace is nice. I can backspace all the way without it deleting whole words compared to the iPhone.

  • Calling: Call Assist is really handy and I like that the Pixel filters out spam calls

The Not So Good

  • Gaming: I play baseball 9 and compared to the iPhone, the cursor to aim is not as fluid. Perhaps this will take some time to get used to but that's one thing I noticed.

  • Camera: I don't think it's as good as it's been advertised. While the AI Edit feature is cool and can make some modest edits, it's made more inaccurate edits than accurate ones. Using the 100x zoom and comparing the results to the Samsung S25 Ultra's 100x zoom, the quality was the same and I didn't really notice AI do much to enhance it. Maybe I need to test this out more

  • Qi Charging: I bought the charging stand from Google and it's been finicky. Sometimes it'll charge and sometimes it won't.

The Other Points (which I can't really attribute to the phone itself):

  • RCS Messaging: this may be T-Mobile specific but I've had issues receiving messages from iPhone users after the switch. Customer Service had to remove a block on my line and recommended I keep RCS off. While removing the block helped, it also prevented me from replying to group chats that already existed. I switched to Verizon and even then, a friend of mine had trouble sending a message out to an entire group chat because I was in it. I've been since kicked out of the group chat lol. This has been a big contributing factor to me wanting to switch back to the iPhone.

  • Pixel Buds: while they're nice and sound good, I can't say the quality is better than the Airpod Pros. The volumes a bit lower overall and sound isn't as crisp. The case is also prone to getting dirty easily.

This is just my personal opinion so far. There were a few other things that I left out because I felt that they're moreso a learning curve. But I'm also happy to take feedback or tips too! And if anyone can figure out how to make RCS work, please...

UPDATE With a few more days of testing, I have a few more findings/thoughts.

  1. There's audio latency when using my Pixel Buds Pro 2 when watching any form of media and when I play my game. Not sure if this is a bug but sometimes when I'm not connected to Bluetooth after having used the earbuds, there's a bit of latency. Tried using my Airpod Pros and there's latency as well. If anyone knows of a solution to this, please help.

  2. People have mentioned that the Pixel is not a gaming phone, which fine but with my above mention of Baseball 9 being a bit finicky, I haven't found much improvement. And there is some lag when compared to the iPhone. Other games, such as Pudgy Party work fine though. I've tried to adjust the settings as well but hasn't really helped.

  3. After switching from T-Mobile to Verizon, I no longer have RCS issues. Messages are smooth and I can send/receive well.
