Hey everyone! So I’ve had my iPhone 11 Pro Max since 2020 and I want to upgrade to the iPhone 17 pro max. Besides the battery capacity being at 76% on my current phone everything else is completely fine. Despite this when checking the trade in value online it was about 400 bucks, meaning I would have to pay $830 out of pocket for the iPhone 17 pro max instead of the current retail price which I believe is around $1200.
I’ve seen some people get a substantially higher tree in value for their phone even recently, so I’m wondering how I can maximize my phones value. I’m thinking about getting it assessed in person at the Verizon store instead of online but I’m unsure if that would change anything. Does anyone have any ideas how to get a higher trade in value?

Our email just got hammered with a new promo called BYOD+, (Bring-Your-Own-Device) you get to upgrade your phone and put a new number on your old one; they give you a "trade-in" credit on your new phone and the line for your old phone is free, both for 36mo, and then you just d/c the 11 Pro Max in 3 years. Unfortunately with trade-in deals being "tiered" based on the age of the device right now, this is the best value for your situation, so you'll get more than $300 towards your new phone, have the old one as a backup/burner/kid's phone/whatever for free for three years, and you never actually have to trade the old phone in.

Hey everyone! I'm finally deciding if I want to trade in my iphone 11 pro max to upgrade to either 16 pro max or 17 pro max once it comes out.
Right now, i'm seeing a deal for $600 trade in for iphone 16 pro max but do you think this will either go up or down once iphone 17 comes out? I know the iphone16 pro max should get slightly cheaper once 17 releases but wanted to ask if I should just take the deal now or wait.
Since my phone is pretty old.. i don't want to end up finding out when 17 is released that I can't trade in my phone anymore or something. TIA!
