Seriously considering upgrading my iPhone 13 to the 16 Pro Max, especially with this Verizon deal. They're saying they'll pay off my current phone and I can keep my basic unlimited plan. Plus, I'd get $830 in trade-in value towards the new phone. I know i would just have to pay extra to upgrade to the 16 pro max.
My 13 has been feeling super slow and laggy lately, so the speed boost of the 16 Pro Max is really appealing. But now I'm also wondering if i should just wait for the iPhone 17 Pro Max that's likely coming out later this year?
Is the 16 Pro Max a big enough jump to justify the cost now with this deal, or is it smarter to hold out for whatever improvements the 17 Pro Max might bring? Are there any potential downsides to waiting?
What are your thoughts?
Thanks!
I have a 13 Pro whose charging port has stopped working, so it’s time to upgrade.
Verizon’s currently offering a $600 trade-in credit for a 16 Pro (making it $400 over 36 months) while staying on Unlimited Welcome. (They’re offering $1000 credit for switching to Unlimited Ultimate and $830 for Unlimited Plus, but I don’t need a better plan and it’d overall cost more.)
Should I trade-in now, or should I stick it out with wireless charging and wait a month until the iPhone 17s are released in case the price of 16s drop or Verizon offers similar/better trade-in deals for the 17s?
Verizon put up an offer for ONE line. The monthly payment would be $7-something device payment for one phone. The other line would be $30 device payment. That is to upgrade to IPhone 17 pro. If I could get that deal for both phones I would order the phones now. Guess I will hold out with hopes that they will offer it for both eventually. They also put an offer up for our third line. That line still has a $160(?) balance. They said they would pay it off and allow an upgrade.
