Can anyone quantify the trade in value of my iPhone 13 Pro? The Verizon trade in deal estimates $800, but my phone has some pixel damage (basically a black half circle in the bottom left.
I am guessing it would very low due to the issue.

at this point in time, organic value (about $300. half that amount with damage) if on unlimited welcome*, $415 on unlimited plus*, $830 on unlimited ultimate*. (*or equivalent) things might change on valentines day, might be $830 on unlimited plus (or equivalent) may also be different if you have a loyalty offer on your account (highest i've seen is $830 on any low tier, $1000 on any mid-high tier) (unless you were talking about switching to samsung, then $400 on low tier plan, $800 on mid tier plan, up to $1000 on high teir if you get the 24+ or 24 ultra)

If you want the market value, not the promotional value go to this page: https://www.verizon.com/trade-in/ The $800 figure is the promotional value for upgrading your phone and choosing the highest Rate plan(ultimate). Choosing a different rate plan will give a different promo value. ALSo, it depends on the phone you are getting.. right now you can get $830 towards the iPhone 15, base model. this would make it "on Verizon."

Currently seeing $830 off (via credits) an iPhone 17 Pro on Unlimited Welcome with iPhone 13 Pro trade-in (and $1100 off on Plus/Ultimate), but I’ve seen it mentioned on this subreddit that loyalty sometimes earns a full $1100 off on any Unlimited plan.
Since I’ve been with Verizon for 27 years, I feel like that should mean something loyalty-wise, right? Thoughts?

I have a 13 Pro whose charging port has stopped working, so it’s time to upgrade.
Verizon’s currently offering a $600 trade-in credit for a 16 Pro (making it $400 over 36 months) while staying on Unlimited Welcome. (They’re offering $1000 credit for switching to Unlimited Ultimate and $830 for Unlimited Plus, but I don’t need a better plan and it’d overall cost more.)
Should I trade-in now, or should I stick it out with wireless charging and wait a month until the iPhone 17s are released in case the price of 16s drop or Verizon offers similar/better trade-in deals for the 17s?

Prices usually drop for the previous year’s models when the newer iPhones drop. You could wait until new ones drop and maybe get a 16 model completely “free”. And by free I mean monthly credits. We are close to September too. Nearly end of August already

I say stick with wireless charging. 17s will most likely have a similar promo, if not more. AND you "might" get a loyalty offer for $800-1200 off that won't require a plan change. in the meantime, just in case something goes wrong, I recommend you backup your device using Apple's free 21 day backup (settings>general>transfer or reset iphone>get started)

April 15, 2025 - It was a no-brainer and went ahead with upgrading the 2 lines to iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB. Especially since they are giving me the $1000 in trade in value for each phone without having to change my current Get More 5G plan to the new myPlan. Just to get the reassurance I chatted with a Verizon rep on iMessage and the rep was able to confirm that yes I would be getting the promotion for $1000 credit for each line spread out in the 36 months without affecting my current Get More plan so I'm just gonna pay $5.55 for each new phone a month.
