I traded in my s23 ultra for an s25, the est trade in was $800. Come to find out they gave me $280. The reason stated was that the phone was not active for at least 60 days. I had the phone 2 years and it was 11 days between deactivating and them inspecting it. More on community.verizon.com

Currently have an iPhone 11 I’ve had since 2019 and feel like it could last me another few months. Had a couple friends upgrade from 11 to 15 for nothing, so I checked my trade in value and saw it was $830. Anyone know if value will drop like crazy next year and I should just upgrade now? trying not to pay more than I need to lol

Keep in mind that you don't just get the full trade in value when you trade your old phone in....you get that trade in value applied to your bill over 36 months..... You will be locked in for 36 months, or if you leave early, you'll have to pay the full unpaid balance yourself...you won't get the rest of the trade in value.

As an fyi, I just did a trade in of a iPhone 11. While the ad says up to $830, my trade was only worth $431. So double check if you actually get $830
