So I’ve just moved into this home and really wanted to try my hand at making my room feel intentional yet cozy and warm. I had no idea where to start so I asked my dear friend ChatGPT.
I got started on the idea and have been picking up pieces here and there from antique shops, estate sales, and Facebook marketplace. I went to Vizcaya a couple of months ago and fell in love. I wanted it to have that same feel (minus the multibillion dollar estate). It’s not perfect but I love how it’s coming out. I’ve never had a space feel so warm and loving??? (I know that’s weird) but it feels like a home I’ve been longing for. I’m thinking of bringing in more of an emerald green into the mix but don’t know how to execute.
Any ideas on what I should add?

Your bedframe is Stickley craftsman style which is post-victorian. If you want a period look I would get a different bed. Likewise for your mid-mod nightstand. Also , you have that great picture molding high on the wall, might as well use it to hang your art rather than fixing it to the wall like you have. Lastly, an 8- or 10-inch baseboard would tie it all together but that is probably less feasible/DIY
