Okay if you are aiming for early part of the decade if you can get either a Hornets wearable thar looks vintage or something on the color scheme. You can also search for “Looney tunes 90s shirt” and you can more or less copy what they are wearing or wear that shirt. I will make other post for other aspects one minute. Any particular reasons why? I have some old ass shirts from the 90s, and they're aren't nearly as comfortable as most modern blends.
I suppose Gildan is closest to what you're looking for but any cheap 100% cotton shirt would do.

I've been looking on ebay for some 90s button up shirts with abstract, geometric designs, or button down shirts with different stripe colors. I've also though of Wrangler rancher Aztec shirts, but idk if those would be too extra.
I also found Super Massive shirts. But idk if this is a brand from the 90s. or a new brand that is making retro styled shirts? https://www.supermassiveshop.com/collections/ss-button-downs I also found Bugle Boys shirts, but they fit really loose. I usually wear a large, but in these shirts a L has a 25" in pit to pit measurement.
I see a lot of abercrombie, hollister, and gap, but I'm thinking those are more y2k aeshtetic. Or, even generic mallcore of shirts realeased in the 2010s that people on ebay are marketing as "y2k or 90s vintage" which is what I'm trying to avoid.
Anybody have any suggestions?
