Hello!
I’m recently new to the world of vintage fashion and was hoping y’all could help me out when it comes to either finding authentic vintage clothing or at least clothing that is vintage inspired?
I’m really into 1950s-60s fashion, specifically pin up girl fashion, with my inspirations being Ashlyn Coco and Micheline Pitt.
I’m trying to avoid any fast fashion sights as I would like my first vintage fashion pieces to be stables and I just don’t like fast fashion ethically and quality speaking.
What online stores do you guys recommend?

so, your influencers are 'inspired' by vintage, and if you want to go that way and not buy fast fashion, it's going to be fairly expensive. sorry, i don't know any reputable repro sites, but others here may. just fyi, 'pinup' is generally mid-40s to early 50s. late 50s-early 60s think Mad Men, later 60s is def mod/hippie. for actual vintage etsy and ebay are fine - lots of variety and the potential for good buys, but bf buying online, you should try and get familiar with what to look for / what kind of questions to ask sellers, and the range of prices you might encounter. if there are a couple of shops that sell true vintage close to you, go and look at the clothing, see what the styles and construction look like - online has risks for people who are inexperienced as many sellers on popular platforms don't really know what they're selling. if you have an unlimited budget, below are two etsy shops that are knowledgeable and research their stuff, their prices reflect this.
