Today I had my local shop install a Viper LED 2 way Remote start system in my 2016 Crosstrek. I had the same system on my last Toyota and it was awesome. 1 mile range is awesome!

3 hours at the shop to have it installed and now it's working like a champ.

Happy to answer any questions you may have!

Basic Thoughts:

With lights on, the car starts, lights come on, if you shut it off with the remote they turn off.

Hood switch works

When you press the brake with no key, the car shuts off

The stock remote still works with the car for lock/unlock

All 4 door's unlock when you use the Viper remote and press only once (need to check the stock key buttons)
