To become an electronic filer, please visit the Campaign Finance Filing page on the Department of Elections website.​ All Virginia Beach candidates are required to file campaign finance reports through COMET.

It must be filed before a candidate can purchase a Registered Voter’s list from the State Board of Elections. Registered voters lists CANNOT be obtained from the local Registrar. Complete necessary campaign finance documents and review corresponding Laws and Policies for Campaign Committees.
