I have been trying to call 888-524-1283 to get help with my gift card that was scammed but anytime i entered in the zip code it said it was incorrect. I have entered my zip code, the zip code of the place that issued the card but none work. The person that scammed me already bought something using it so I could use that zip of the place they bought something from but thats all I can think of. I wish they had an email but when I contacted visa they just told me to call that number.
Edit: I used the zipcode of the company and it didnt work. The company name is GOOLD MOON, LLC btw
I bought a visa prepaid card at target for $100. Tried to use it for google play, and when that didn’t work I tried it with a few different websites and nothing worked. I’ve tried using it in person too and it said chip error or something like that.
I went back to target to ask and they said call the number on the back of the card. I did and it’s just a robot listing FAQs and telling you the balance on your card. My balance is full. But the card still doesn’t work. It’s been over a week at this point. I don’t want to have lost $100. I also talked to visa customer support & they said they couldn’t help & I had to call the number on the back of the card BUT IT’S NOT A REAL HUMAN.
Also I’m 17M cause it says to include age & gender in the post, though I don’t see if it’s relevant. If they have to send me a new card that’ll be a problem cause I can’t have it sent to my house, my parents will take it lol. I’d need to pick it up in person. But first i need to find out how to talk to an actual person for customer service 😭
