idk you can try it, the gift cards all have so many rules i can't keep up but I have seen people buy specific branded gift cards with vanilla gift cards before I just don't know if it's limited to certain branded cards or not but tbh I would just go and try it More on reddit.com

I don't know if ALL Walgreen stores are doing this, but...Our store has recently been keeping Visa Vanilla Gift Cards behind the register counters and away from customers' reach. We also are only accepting cash as payment for them.

yeah, crooks have been stealing them, tampering with them, then sneaking them back into the store...so I imagine some stores are keeping them out of reach. I just make sure my crew is diligent in checking the barcodes and peel stickers for any signs of tampering before selling because this kind of scam is definitely on the ups
