I’m fairly certain this company is trying to extort money out of me..
I hired this company to create a logo last year. They upsold me consistently, on a website, on copyrighting. I needed that stuff anyway so I decided to go for these things, even though I was very hesitant on the copyrighting.
They worked their sleazy sales skills and I went along.
After this, I did not go for any other upselling they went for.
After 6 months, they began telling me my copyright application was to be “complete” when I gave them 25 dollars for acceptance in each state. Knowing nothing about copyrights at that time, I smelled BS. I refused.
Then they started telling me it’s not an option, and I the legal fees would be up to 45,000 if I did not choose to complete it with them.
I looked up the copyrights to my logo I hired them to create. It’s there as a record, with me listed as the claimant, and them as the authors. So I believe I am in the clear, but damn.. beware of these guys.
No written contracts, and sketchiness all around.

Just got a call and multiple texts saying this very same thing with some little fucking shit head getting aggressive on the phone. I’ll be filing a BBB claim, contacting the Florida attorney general and also contacting a lawyer. Trying to scam a disabled veteran owned business isn’t a good look and I’ll put them on blast. I’ll update here

Dealing with the same thing here. Basically the “Mark” I talked to on the phone said if I don’t pay him 1500-2500 right then he would turn it over to the legal team and they would sue me for 75000.00 for not having a copyrighted logo. He said the he wasn’t my servant and didn’t need to answer any questions I just needed to pay. I paid them nearly 1000 upfront to design a logo, letterhead, cards and some Facebook and instagram links. I only received the logo final files and then they wanted me to upgrade to copyrights. I told them I’m a small construction company and the name is my name, no one is going to copy that. Little did I know that there were going to be these kinds of implications. These guys are rats. Don’t know where to turn.
