I’ve been wondering the same thing… it looks like models with slightly different specs. The new “limited edition” QLED is a VA panel for example (better contrast), where as the Quantum QLED is an IPS panel (better viewing angle). The limited edition ones are not even listed on Vizio.com. My guess is it’s just a marketing gimmick. More on reddit.com

So, I’ve seen it before, and they’re usually in plain brown boxes with no extras—just "VIZIO LIMITED EDITION," model #xxxxxxx. Now, since Walmart, it’s blue, but flat instead of glossy like the new packaging. But again, no pictures or marketing—just plain text that says "VIZIO LIMITED EDITION," model #xxxxxxx. I bought this one a while back for ha ha's but never even opened it because I ended up getting P75Q9-J01. Anyway, my question is, does anyone know what makes VIZIO LIMITED EDITION TVs special??

Looks like something they do for certain vendors to prevent price match policies from applying. Change the model number by 1 digit and suddenly it's not considered like for like at places like Best Buy.

I only have 3 days with this TV and I just can't over how bad the colors and quality look. I'm trying my best in finding out how I can fix this but I'm seriously considering returning this. We decided to go with a Vizio because our previous tv was a Vizio that we bought in 2008. It lasted 15 years!!! Not a smart TV but we had cable and the firestick. Amazing colors and quality. No complaints ever until last week when it just went black. Stopped working all together and the only thing that worked was the on and off button. Anyways because that TV was amazing we decided to go with another Vizio. Our first smart TV and we are so disappointed. No matter how much I change the settings the colors either look blown out or washed out. Too much Tint, washed out blacks. Every commercial looks horrible like if they have social media filters on. I've tried changing ports but nothing. I don't even know what the HDMI 3 4K port 120Hz does because doesn't seem to improve things. Does anyone else have this TV and has good colors and quality?
Update: I ended up returning the Vizio and got a 55" Sony Bravia OLED and it's like night and day compared to the Vizio. We didn't even have to adjust any settings. It came perfect put of the box.

It says Vizio on it and it's new, so... No. Buy literally anything else. If I was just looking for a smallish, cheap TV I'd just pick up an Onn Roku from Walmart. They have a 50" 60Hz UHD for the same price.

No, It is a Vizio. You don't buy Vizios, that sticker price is for you to rent it for 6 months to a year before it eventually breaks down for absolutely no reason.
