August 5, 2021 - Like most new TVs, the D40f-J09 is impressively thin and light (to the point that it feels fragile), so be sure to keep the box if you move around a lot. That said, I screwed on the TV’s legs on a hard floor, so maybe it’s more durable than what my instincts are telling me.

The new TV was delivered the next day ! So far it has been great, picture is clear, great TV. There are so many new features on this 40” I’ll probably never find it all but enjoying it so far! Thank you Walmart and Anna at customer service! ... Great product! I liked how easy it was to set up. The TV is pretty lightweight and the instructions were simple. Vizio offers a great selection of free movies, etc so you get a lot for your money.

December 20, 2013Vizio V-Series 4K UHD TV review: Even entry-level TVs are good now
I have a couple Vizio sets including the V series in my bedroom. Its fantastic as a secondary set. I get a lot of use out of it. I have a PS4PRO hooked up and do some 4k gaming. My room is dark so brightness isn't an issue and on Vivid looks stunning. The biggest problem when I hooked it up was sound. It is very bad using built in speakers so I bought a cheap bassy soundbar. It does have that dirty screen effect but only if your looking for it or scenes with a ton of white. Overall I paid 300 for it and 80 for sound and I love the setup. More on reddit.com

I bought a D series about two months ago. It died about 2 days after my return window. The actual panel was nice for the month it lasted, though
