Vincent Lyon, you have not told us what you have checked. The no video issue can be related to a bad backlight inverter circuitry. A simple check for that would be to darken the room and turn the TV on. Then use a flashlight and angle the light at the screen on different areas. you might make out some shadows or see s slight grey color. Your model uses an backlight circuit on the power supply board. No picture -just sound. If picture is visible when you hold flashlight against screen then... · Check CN 202 (plug connector) on power board for hair line cracks. Remove the board and look on the bottom. Resolder the pins and it's fixed... At least that was the issue with mine

A few days ago my Vizio TV of less than a year started acting up. I turned off my PS5, turned off the tv, and left for a few hours. I come come and turn on the tv but it doesn't show anything. The audio still works though. The picture varies. Sometime it's black with a little glow. Sometimes it's a lighter black with white edges around. Any suggestions? I've unplugged everything, and tried holding down the power for 1 minute.

Mine does this sometimes but only with the Disney plus app when I try to watch episodes of new shows. It won't do it if I try to watch older shows or movies on Disney plus. Tonight it did it with the Peacock app when I tried to watch a recently released movie. I can turn off the TV and turn it back on and stream with smart cast via my phone and it works that way.

My Vizio Smartcast keeps losing picture to a black screen but still has sound. The TV will power on and within 30 seconds the pictures slowly wipes from the screen and turns black. Sound is still there. I have tried all the options I have seen online. Unplugging for a minute. Unplugging and holding the power button on TV for 30 seconds (this fixed it yesterday), trying a different outlet. Any other ideas?

Bought the TV back in 2018-ish, Vizio E70-F3 70". A couple of months ago we noticed that when turning it on and going to Live TV (HD antenna), sometimes the screen is black but it displays captions, can view and browse the TV menu, and it plays sound.
Switch to any other input mode and the screen works, leading me to believe it's not that "black screen of death" or other screen/lighting issue. The HD antenna we have is not powered and installed up in the attic, so I don't think that is the problem either.
I think it may be a result of that last big update these received because the issue didn't exist before that. Anyone else experiencing the same issue, and did you find a fix?
