I’m doing some research for a work project and unfortunately don’t have access to a windows computer. we are trying to figure out the best, and simplest, way to record audio on windows OS.
is there a built-in app that can record audio, like quicktime for mac can? if not, what’s the best app that is accessible across OS versions and computers? we will need to give instructions to people who may not be particularly tech savvy on how to set up and use audio recording, so something simple and intuitive is preferred. thanks!

I use this task. But you also need auto input. Not sure if it is a must. Also I suggest you to use bxactions adb command to make it respond faster. And then you just need to select this task. In my case I want to use bixby button to do different actions for different apps. For lock screen you can use "System UI" as you can see below if image. I use it to toggle flash light. For whatsapp I have a personal task. For the future i might do other cool things for each app :)
