I don't know if any of this will actually apply to you but my thoughts when reading this kind of thing: On the one hand, it's totally normal to want love and connection and to feel a bit sad and frustrated you haven't found the one yet. But to be miserable about it or unable to be happy with yourself may be a sign that you're seeking love, caring and validation externally because you weren't taught how to give those things to yourself. And that won't lead to healthy relationships anyway because no one can replace self-love/ care and it can lead to all kinds of power imbalances if you feel you have to earn love rather than just being your already lovable self. Meeting someone truly compatible is hard and it can take time. Most people aren't compatible and I swear it has nothing to do with you being defective (although not gonna lie, I've had the same worries many times). But realistically you're a unique person but not an alien haha. Even murderers find friends so I think you'll be fine x). Focus on being a person you'd love. Your goals and such. Self-compassion. Build friendships so all your social energy isn't going into one place. Friends are just as important because breakups happen and you want an overall support network. More on reddit.com

It's a simple thing that you just have to understand. Some methods return stuff while others don't. Something like `Console.WriteLine("Hello World)` has no return value because what the fuck could it possibly return. Then again, something like `Math.Abs(-7)` of course has a return value because that's the entire point of the method. You call methods with a return value because you want the value. void means the returned value should not be used and the analyzer will make it an error if you are trying to use a value typed void. Yes, in most cases it means the method are returning null but there are cases where some other type of object is returned. But in both cases, the method signature will make sure the returned value is seen as the void type which prevents us from using the value.
