wasn't around for it, but had a customer call me stupid for not knowing we did it after I told her we haven't done it in the two years I've been working there
More on reddit.comI read online from multiple sources that they still did this in 2023, but when I went into a store today and asked them about it they looked at me like I was from another planet.
I used to get it refilled at Costco, but they stopped doing it. When I search online I found Walgreens and Office Max, but when I called both those places they said they don't do it any more. Actually, Office Max said they don't do it any more... Walgreens acted like I was asking if they shaved kittens.
So, where do I go? Do I need to get a kit and do it myself? That seems like more waste than just buying a new cartridge.
If there's another option that I don't know about, feel free to enlighten me. Except not printing stuff. I can't go all electronic with my stuff.
Update: I went ahead and ordered a kit from Amazon. I should get about 20 refills out of it, so it's a lot more eco friendly than tossing out cartridges. Not completely Zero Waste, but as close as I can get.
