I want to buy this mirror or a different one, but I dont want to use Ikeas wireless stuff - I just like the design. Can i replace my existing vanity light/mirror with it, and just use the same wires that are in the wall, and the same lightswitch? sorry if this is a silly question.

INM the wireless switch/module is only for dimming - the entire circular section there is a button to on/off the lights

November 21, 2014 - We're trying to figure out where to mount the electrical box behind the cabinet before we board up the wall. There's also some "substitution is left to the reader" going on in the instructions because it doesn't show any steps for connecting the power to the LED light bars. At some point the diagram shows a cover over the wires, but gave no steps on how that came to be. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ... Any more updates on these mirror cabinets?
