So I recently lost my wallet. I eventually found out that it was left in the hotel I stayed at across the state (Michigan). I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good wallet tracker? Preferably one that can do long distance tracking and also form fitting (ie, credit card sized or similar). Thanks!
Title is basically it. I know Pebblebee has their universal tracker card, but it's pretty chonky at 2.8mm thick and has a proprietary charger. There are a plethora of apple tracker cards from a variety of brands / oems that are around 1.4-2mm thick, have qi charging, etc - but I haven't been able to find an option for android yet. Anyone else have any better luck?

Looking for a reliable and rechargeable tracker card for android that has gps location and sound source for fast narrow localization.
There seems to be a lot of options but none I've found has any lack of complaints about literally "not working at all" or only working "at a few feet" obviously technology exist that's far superior to this trash but what brand produced high quality trackers?
Hey guys,
Lost 3 wallets this year and I'm losing my shit as well,
I'm looknig for a recommended small device I could put in my wallet, hopefully replace its battery every 3~ months, and be able to track it with GPS (not like for 50 meters, I need more).
Tried looking on Amazon/Ebay and all I see are for 50 meters or pricey for something I'll also lose (;
Any advice?
Thanks in advance! Had no luck checking other online forums
After a string of instances of losing stuff , I started getting to collecting tags. One thing I did was to start experimenting with slipping trackers in my wallet. I have tried a moto tag, and Samsung smarttag2s ( I mostly have android but also snagged a premium Samsung ), and it is interesting because this particular wallet was listed as having RFID protection. I also put a mototag and another smarttag2 right next to the wallet.
The tags outside the wallet get hits on their network decently, and the two inside the wallet are rarer - actually the mototag nearly never gets updates. The smarttag2 in there does still get hits.
I know some have said here that the antenna will be better on smarttags than circular 'smaller' trackers like moto tags with their air tag form factor - and will see if I can test this with nrfConnect later [ EDIT: tested, smarttag2's have a stronger signal thru my RFID wallet]-
but i wanted to ask how well y'all are doing with tags in wallets. Also curious if card style ones are better due to their size, in RFID wallets...
Tests done using FindHub, smartthings, and UTag to use Samsung smartthings on android. The Samsung phone has UWB, which functions with find hub and smartthings for both tags but this doesn't affect the finding networks
Edit#2: looking online, none of those wallets with air tag holders have it hidden, it just sticks right out apparently with a little window. Wish the pocket was not so obvious.
This past October while I was visiting Capitol Reef National Park, somewhere along the way my wallet fell out of my back pocket. (Likely just plain lost, not stolen). Which was a pretty massive inconvenience to be over a thousand miles away from home without any cards or drivers license and two bucks of stray cash in my pocket. Fun times.
This was the first time I had lost a wallet, but I would most definitely not want for it to happen again. And someone showed me a device the size of a thick credit card you could put in your wallet where it could be tracked remotely (like an airtag device), or would beep if separated too far away from your cell phone (like 50 feet).
I have a simple bi-fold wallet, and I would like to see if anyone has a recommendation for a type of tracking device I could buy that I could use in the event it is ever lost again. Tracking either through my phone (Samsung Galaxy app) or laptop (website). Would prefer that I could walk into a store to buy it in person, but if it can only be purchased online and delivered, that's not a dealbreaker for me. Price is also not a significant issue. If anyone has suggestions on a good, reliable type of tracker that would not turn my wallet as thick as a brick, let me know!
Hey guys, just had the new ridge tracker cards pop up on my socials. Currently running a carbon wallet with an AirTag attachment with of course adds a lot of bulk. Would definitely be interested to substitute the tracker card with my AirTag to thin it back out, but a bit apprehensive because of the RFID blocking on the ridge wallet.
What are your thoughts?
I think the Android tracking features have been working for a couple of weeks now? Curious if anyone has come across a good real life review of using them to track items?
I realize Android's bluetooth stack sometimes handicaps apps ability to maintain foreground usage and stuff like that. My usecase is mostly looking at the ability to utilize the network of Android devices to track my bike that gets shared with my roommates. I'm in a city, so there's plenty of phones around.
I'm also curious if I can just rely on Android's Find My Device app? Or do I have to use some proprietary app from Chipolo/Pebblebee?
Hey everyone, I’ve been look for a tracker card that fits into my wallet and works with Apples Find My or some other software. Of course, my first thought was the Tile Slim card but i don’t like the idea of just throwing it away every 3 years and having to subscribe to a separate plan just for it to work well. I want something that’s rechargeable and lasts.
I’ve found a couple of other products on Amazon, namely the Seinxon Wallet Finder and the KeySmart Smart Card. They both use Apple Find My and are both rechargeable. However, i haven’t seen that many discussions about those products, other than the Amazon reviews.
Does anyone know if either of those two options are good? If not, are there any other product y’all would recommend?
I need to get trackers for my mom's wallet, phone and keys
It needs to have both GPS and a remote that she can press so it beeps. She leaves them behind in places and constantly looses them in the house so if she loses her phone she needs to be able to press a button that will make a noise because if she looses her phone she can't use the app on her phone 🙈
She has severe memory loss 😔 and she needs to have her phone and keys with her when she laves the house and often can't find them before she leaves 🙈
I'm planning to sick a remote on her fridge that can't be lost and can be used when she's in the house and have lost her phone especially if the phone battery is lost...and I can GPS track if she leaves her wallet behind anywhere and will last long as long as possible because she will forget to plug it in
Thanks
I keep losing my phone and realized I could probably do well with a tracker that's separate from my phones battery so I can still track it if it ever runs out of battery.
Can anyone recommend a wallet tracker that works with Android phones? Or where I can find in Hong Kong that sells them? The ones in Fortress only sell trackers that work with iPhones.
Thanks in advance!
Have you tried Tile? They have different shapes including a more flat one that could slip inside a case. Not sure if they sell it in stores though.
Is it a samsung? Samsung find my phone also shows you the last location right before the battery ran out. Obviously only useful, if you don't lose it in a bus or MTR
Hello I purchased two tile trackers for wallets. I would like to put 1 in my wife's wallet and 1 in mine for traveling. Should I create 2 accounts and put 1 on 1 phone and the other on other phone?
Thanks for your help
I thought about getting one to warn me if someone lifts my wallet, but some people are saying that the pickpocket will simply throw the tracker away immediately (if looking for it) or as soon as the alarm goes off on the tracker?
I bought a Pebblebee tracker and have an Android phone, FWIW. Thanks.
Figured some of you guys might be interested in this. If you're like me and don't want to add bulk to your wallet with an airtag holder:
Tracking Card - Find My (nomadgoods.com)
Seems pretty thin, I think my favorite part is that I can charge it using a Qi wireless charger. I ordered one to try it out.
Need a tracker as I've one too many times misplaced the wallet or most often just forget it when I drive, but not so much a problem with the phone. Need just a simple tracker to sync with my phone so my phone will alert when it's too far. Nothing fancy, just something simple like bluetooth only.
I checked Tile, Orbit, Cube, etc. and if they aren't getting lots of bad recent reviews then ReviewMeta.com shows that their reviews are very padded. Nothing out there I've found so far doesn't look too promising but let me know if I missed anything.
I need to know the best wallet alerter for Solana. I have looked around and tried a few options.
GMGN Alert Bot-- Free option. I tried it and it misses a lot of transactions.
Solana Raybot-- Hobby option. It's good but caps out at 5000 transactions per day. When you're following around 50 wallets it easily goes over the daily limit.
Cielo -- i haven't used it. It's a bit expensive at $60 per month with 1000 transactions notfied per hour. What do you guys think about it?
Wallet Master-- It's very expensive and I haven't tried it.
Spybot-- Has similar rates to Raybot.
Which one do you guys recommend when it comes to transaction notification count and overall cost and effectiveness?
I have one of those ridge wallet card holders and an iPhone. I was wondering if they those card trackers are any good and if anyone has any recommendations for card trackers that work almost or just as good as a regular air tag? I tend to lose/misplace things a lot and a regular AirTag won’t fit into my card holder. If it’s not as good what would be the best option and is it worth it?
