Every year Walmart advertises these insane doorbuster deals and every year I hear stories about people camping out for hours only to find out there were like 3 units available per store. The TV deals always look amazing in the ads, like a 65 inch for 250 bucks, but then you get there and it's either sold out instantly or it's some off brand with terrible specs. I need a TV and some other stuff but I'm not trying to fight crowds at 5am for deals that might not even exist. The online deals seem safer but those sell out in seconds too and you're competing with bots.
Has anyone successfully gotten the advertised Walmart doorbuster deals in recent years or is it all bait and switch? And are the online Black Friday deals any better or do they have the same inventory problems?
