Are there some laptops at Walmart that are cheap and works pretty well for the most part? It’s not like I’m trying to play those highly graphical games like cyberpunk or red dead, if I want it to be 4K then I can just play them on console. I Just want a casual gaming laptop

I am new to PCs, particularly PC gaming, because I was raised on consoles. While shopping around for a decent 16GB desktop that wouldn't break my budget, I found several offers from Walmart that seem to meet my requirements. I wasn't sure and, upon checking other websites, I found that similar desktops were significantly more expensive than the versions offered by Walmart. This... has me confused and more than little wary of Walmart's offers. Why are they so cheap in comparison to the other websites?
For example, 16GB ram with 1TB of storage and a 3.6Ghz core at ~$600 vs ~$1,000.

I don't have an exact computer in mind but..
An extremely old computer could run those games fine. Like to put in perspective my first ever computer could run all those games fine, and it was a horrible computer. 6gb ram, integrated graphics, bad cpu, etc etc.
You could easily get away with probably a $400 build maybe even less.
But you also shouldn't go for the cheapest that can run those games, you should get slightly above what you need just incase. Can always look on youtube to see if people reviewed the computer and then see how it does in some games.
