Are Home Office professionals at Walmart in US satisfied with their compensation?
What I was able to find on it as a TL.
Hi I'm looking for what these salary plans mean at the home office. Some examples are Salary plan N28 or Salary plan 80 and there are different levels of each one. Could anyone help me with what these mean.
The different bands are for a separate division.
Type 80 is for support/merchandising,
Type 40 is for the Sam's Club Field, etc.
Is there a specific one you are looking at? I can get the salary info if you're curious.
80 thru 89 is salaried manager positions at Home Office. These positions receive annual incentives and equity.
70 thru 79 is salaried technical positions at Home Office. These positions also receive annual incentives and equity. Also the 70 scale is similar to 80, but 70 is slightly higher compensation at each level.
N28 0 thru N28 4 is non-exempt (hourly) manager position at Home Office. They receive compensation similar to 80 level, but with a smaller incentive and no equity.
PPG A thru PPG G is the hourly grunts. Don't apply unless you have no experience.
I feel I am being paid unfairly and I don’t know what to do, and I want to be prepared when I talk to management. Basically I was on the wire yesterday and saw a page called “pay scale”. I have been working for the company, mostly full time, for the past 9 years, and with recent increases in minimum wage all my raises have been surpassed by this, and I am now once again making minimum wage. I don’t think it’s fair that new associates are making the same as me, when I’ve been working hard for nearly ten years, and according to the pay scale form I saw I should be getting paid a minimum of $18 an hour? I am being paid $15.45. I’m a good worker and my department manager loves me and considers me essential. What can I do, or who should I talk to? I’ve been looking for other jobs, but I haven’t had much success as of yet, but I feel I might as well start anywhere else seeing as how at this rate I’ll be making minimum wage my entire life here.
