Settings -> general -> about -> carrier lock = to see if it’s sim locked. You shouldn’t have to do anything to get it unlocked, just have service on Straight Talk for 2 months. It will automatically unlock the day or the day after you are on 60 days of service. Cheapest plan is $35/month. https://www.straighttalk.com/plans/wireless-phones I got the same phone. iPhone 13 is still great in 2025 👍❤️ Best way to activate is using the “My Straight Talk: mobile app” in the App Store. Lol I’m the type of person that likes to run my shit till it absolutely breaks or fails and my iPhone X I got new when they were released so this will be better than still using my iPhone X since it’s about to finally give out.
I have t mobile so I’ll just have 2 phones for 2 months since I have to be on straight talk for 2 months before it unlocks.
$210 shipped for a brand new iPhone can’t beat it even if it’s a couple generations old.
Now what’s the cheapest plan or way going about this prepaid plan just enough so that it unlocks. How do I know it’s unlocked after the 60 days does it say in the settings or would I have to call and get it unlocked so I can use my old sim?
