As always, it's recommended to take a screenshot of the dates listed, don't forget to search your store number to see your store specific ones too as this list will update again shortly before the new quarter begins. That, and it's always good to have the list handy/saved in the event you can't access the site for whatever reason.

Before the quarter starts, store managers are able to submit up to three dates during the quarter to have as key event dates for their specific store. Q3 company wide key event dates are 9/1, 9/2, and 9/3, stores can select up to three key event dates of their own each quarter so be sure to go to the Key Event Day page and search your store number to see which dates your store has selected. You may want to also screenshot that page as well as the company will update the list towards the end of the quarter and it’ll no longer show the current quarter Key Event Dates.

Important things to remember for Key Event Dates:

*Do not rely on any calendar your store has printed/made to show the Key Event Dates as that calendar could have easily been altered. If the date isn’t listed on the Key Event Date page, then it’s not a key event page (no matter what any management may say otherwise).

*PPTO will work on Key Event Dates like it would for any other day of the year. Just be sure to use enough PPTO to cover the missed time like usual to make sure you won’t be pointed. And remember to report the absence of you plan on missing the shift to avoid getting two additional points for a No Call No Show (that even PPTO won’t get rid of).

*Key Event Dates will only ever give one additional point for missing the shift and that’s only if you don’t work any of the shift or use PPTO. If you work any of the shift or use enough PPTO then it’s business as usual and it being a key event date no longer matters.

*Despite what management may say, you don’t need to use “double” the PPTO on key event dates. The most PPTO you can even enter is 12 hours and 45 minutes so most normal shifts, it’s impossible to enter “double” PPTO even if you wanted to.

Company wide dates are May 13(Mother’s Day weekend), May 26-28(Memorial day weekend), June 17(Saturday before Father’s Day/Juneteenth), and July 1-3(for the 4th of July weekend).
