r/walmart on Reddit: Upscale clothing brands now?
November 1, 2023 -

Just curious how, with WM being a discount department store, they are able to now sell more upscale brands such as Reebok and Izod? Back in the 1980s when I went to school, those brands were only sold in upper middle class/rich department stores such as Sanger-Harris and Dillard's. Are they trying to change their image to try to attract more upper-class clientele? Maybe some of you in Apparel can enlighten me. (I'm an OPD Associate, not a customer)
