In 2022 they were making $249,020 off each associate. Now they make $324,280 off each associate in 2025. That's a 33% increase over the course of 3 years. Or 11% increase on average per year that they wring out of you.

2% isn't a raise. Remember if your raise is less than the increase in cost of living, you're actually making less. Don't forget who has a major influence on that cost of living too. They're fucking you coming and going.

June 11, 2024 -
I just started working at Walmart again and I make 14/hr as OGP. Is there a chance I could get a pay increase at some point? Or does that depend on the store? If you Google it says 17.50/18 and idk if that means after a certain amount of time or not.

To clear up for some people: 14/hr is starting minimum wage for all Walmart employees who's states minimum wage is less than 14. Walmart made this change last year. If you're states minimum wage is 15, 16, etc you'll get the minimum wage of that. The only positions that have higher starting wages at a non management area are TLE service technicians and I think bakery and deli. <--- someone can correct me for that second bit. You get a yearly increase based on your performance evaluation as others have said but generally it's the 2% unless you, "Exceed expectations".

At that point it did not matter to me as I was also on social security and, due to tax implications, had gone from a full time supe...
