Some people have problems with everything. I've had a Walmart Money Card for at least a decade and never had a problem. It's $3 a month and $3 a load at Walmart. Flip it over and it says Green Dot Bank. When I log in at walmartmoneycard to check my balance or view transactions it does have a Green Dot routing and direct deposit checking account number. Yes, Chase are not particularly sensitive to GCs. I'd recommend not doing anything that might look unusual (like suddenly purchasing $1500 in giftcards at Walmart in one go, where you normally spend $150). Additionally, store GCs are considered less prone to issues than prepaid debit cards.
But generally speaking, it's rare to have problems with this when using Chase cards.

The Bluebird American Express Debit Card Accounts is going to be shutting down all services in next year including The Serve Accounts next year. So I'm looking for a Prepaid Debit Card that is similar to The Bluebird American Express Debit Card. What has been everyone's experience with using The Walmart MoneyCard? Don’t bother with it unless you have a specific reason to get it. Walmart also has the OnePay debit card which has no fees. There are also many other similar cards like the PayPal debit card, Venmo debit card, CashApp debit card, Bluebird Visa (similar to the Amex but not from Amex), Chime, Future, GreenFi, etc. So many to choose from.
