I was just in Walmart, as usual prices aren't exactly by the item they represent. I usually just pull up the app and scan it.
Today after a scan attempt didn't work I figured my 5G was slow. Got on the Walmart wifi, nothing improved. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, didn't help. I did a download speed test to make sure I had connection I mean after all I just installed the app again, and I was getting over a hundred megabits a second.
Is there some bug going on with the app?? I feel like somebody would have said something on here about it.

Well I recreated the issue. It is with the latest version of the app on Android. I tried my old phone with an old version of the app and it worked fine. So I updated the version on the old phone to the latest and wallah, it now does not work either.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to have the price scanner on the app reflect what the actual cost of the item is in the store you’re in? It used to work that way. If you were wandering around a certain Walmart and wondered the cost of something you could scan it and it would say what it was. You could select your store. Now it just searches the barcode online, and shows the online price. Which is almost always different.
I miss when they had the little price checker kiosks :/

I hate that walmart app since they upgraded it. It will be saying "in store found" for lets say 5 dollars when the actual price when the baroda is scanned is like 9.98. I would tell them that's the online price and they will be arguing. I really don't get why they took those store scanners out.
