Probably going to be getting a budget mic from Walmart
Please suggest a cheap and easy-to-use microphone for video recording
USB Microphone Driver Error
[MIC] Blue Yeti USB Microphone, Blackout Edition - Walmart - $54
Been looking at getting a mic that is around $100 for a while. As of right now the best I have is a cheap headset with a mic that cost about $30. as right now I have my eye on the Hyper X Quad Cast 2.
I need to record a performance that will be about 25-30 minutes long using my iPhone. Is there anything on Amazon that is under $50 and all I will need to do is plug it into the iphone to get better sound quality? Will I need to download any app for this recording or just the camera’s video recording is good enough?
Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
May I know, if other USB device are working?
Which build version of Windows is installed on the computer?
This issue could be caused by the USB root hub conflicting drivers or multiple USB devices.
Method 1: Reset USB hub Controller.
1. USB devices may stop functioning correctly when multiple devices connected to the same USB hub go into selective suspend, I suggest you to try this article and check if this helps.
Disclaimer: The registry is a database in Windows that contains important information about system hardware, installed programs and settings, and profiles of each of the user accounts on the computer. Windows often reads and updates the information in the registry.
Normally, software programs make registry changes automatically. You should not make unnecessary changes to the registry. Changing registry files incorrectly can cause Windows to stop working or make Windows report the wrong information.
2. Reboot the system and check, if you still face the issue I suggest you to Update drivers in Windows 10.
Method 2: Restart Plug and Play services.
1. Press Windows + R key on your keyboard together.
2. Type in services.msc on the small run Window and hit enter.
3. Search for Plug and Play service, right click and start it.
I also suggest you to contact your Motherboard manufacturer and install Chipset and I/O drivers.
If you still face the issue, reply to this post with more information so that we can help you further with this issue.
Hope it helps.

Unfortunately none of this has solved my issue, tried to see what was available for motherboard but wasn't able to find anything to help.
WIN10 Version - 1803
WIN10 Build - 17134.432
Yes I have a usb keyboard and mouse that are both working and was using a usb wireless adapter for internet before switching to motherboard's built in adapter.
