If you haven't, I would consider looking into it. Be aware that working from home is not for everyone, and it does take a different type of discipline, but it is an excellent option if you can get it. These jobs used to take place in call centers but went remote during COVID. After all the pandemic stuff calmed down, the company decided to keep the jobs remote. There are SO MANY options to choose when it comes to different departments, and I know plenty of people that went from in store positions to remote and are thriving. I will try my best to answer any questions anybody might have about the positions.
EDIT: Just to add, I know navigating the career section is a huge pain. I believe I found it on Indeed when I applied.
UPDATE 5/10/25: I got a lot of replies out of nowhere yesterday!! We've only been hiring when gearing up for the holidays. Search for Customer Resolution Specialist positions, Tier II and III. Those would be the positions that would be most likely available at that time. I stumbled upon it while searching for remote positions during Covid, and Walmart had shut down all their call centers. They decided after the pandemic had ended to keep everyone at home, which is why it exists now. I wish so much that I could give you a clearer direction on how to apply. For those looking, I wish you the best of luck!! I know of two folks on my team who came directly from stores. The positions are not available in all states. I know Texas, NC, Arizona, and Arkansas are on the list. I will get specifics and update this again next week.

There is most likely nothing available due to the time of year, but check back in the fall!!
UPDATE 11/05/25: It doesn't look like there will be a reliable way to find a remote position anymore, as Walmart has since begun moving a few select teams back to a hybrid or in-office position. There may still be a bit available during the holidays for seasonal work, but I would not bet on it.
I currently work at Walmart and it's been 2 month I joined as a Frontend Cashier. I am student IT student and has around 1.5yrs exp in Tech and the only reason I took the job is because I didn't get the internship this year. Can I ask my store HR/Frontend Lead/Coach to put or recommend me into home office department like any online customer service role or something.
Or does Walmart have in-store IT department for stuff like Data Entry or Data Management or something?
Hey everyone, quick question. I was told that Walmart actually has a lot of work-from-home jobs, but I can’t figure out where people are finding them.
When I go on the regular Walmart Careers site, all I mostly see are in-store positions or management roles in specific locations. I’m trying to see if Walmart really does have legit remote or stay-at-home positions, and if so, how to filter for them.
If anyone knows the right place to look, what keywords to search, or if there’s a specific site or category Walmart uses for remote jobs, please let me know. I’m trying to find something that pays $23+ an hour, preferably customer service or something similar.
Any advice or tips from people who already work remotely for Walmart would be appreciated!
Hello! I posted here a while ago and I got hired 2 days ago. I’ve already got the me@samsclub app for my schedule, but I was wondering if it’s alright for me to sign into One Walmart from home. I want to check my attendance and paystub since I wasn’t able to the first day because the system is “slow.” I just want to make sure my bank info got processed for direct deposit and just to see what the attendance page looks like. Should I just wait until my breaks/lunch tomorrow or will I not get in trouble for accessing it at home?
Also, if I request a day off unpaid, does it add to my absence points? Ive been reading posts about people who accumulate points for “calling-in.” Does calling-in mean just asking for a day off or deciding not to come in the day of your shift?
Lastly, I did my background check the day before I had my orientation, and they just scheduled me this week and next week. I have no idea if my Background Check was properly processed and whether or not I’m actually supposed to be working before that happens. They sent me the job offer letter and I signed that already as well.
