Waterproof LVP versus vinyl sheet in bathroom
Are there any brands of sheet vinyl flooring that actually have nice patterns?
I need help looking for a waterproof water tight flooring supplier (sheet vinyl or marmoleum) with interesting pattern.
Why is LVP a bad idea for a washroom? Many would say the opposite.

Hoping someone can clarify. I’m having work done. I’ve assumed do not put waterproof lvp in a tub area. If there’s a leak it needs to be pulled up. I’ve assumed tile or vinyl was safer.
The flooring store is trying to convince me otherwise. Can someone clarify. I get waterproof lvp won’t soak up water but pulling it up if there’s a leak sounds like a pain. What if the tub overflows?
I have a small bathroom that needs to be done on a tight budget. I don’t want to deal with the extra hassle/expense of tile for this project, and I feel like hardwood or pergo would not be great in a bathroom, especially with little kids who aren’t great about keeping floors dry. I know sheet vinyl is pretty cheap and good for wet areas, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in a pattern I like. I like pretty florals and even patterns. I would even consider a solid color, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it like that. Admittedly, I’ve never shopped for this product, I’m only just going by what I’ve seen in other people’s houses. Does anyone have any recommendations? Again, I’m a single mom, new homeowner, on a tight budget, so cheap, easy, and pretty are my priorities, in that order. Thanks!
