Well you have some options and it depends on your budget. Use self leveller and get it to manufacturer tolerance for click vinyl. That way you will have a warranty on the product. This will be the most expensive way to go Don’t level, install click lvp and have the joints fail after a bit and have floor look like crap after first renter and then have to redo it. Cheap now but more expensive in ling run If you don’t want to pay for levelling and don’t mind seeing some deflection in flooring, go with a glue down lvp. They have some good 5mm thick ones that have a 20ml wear layer that are reasonably priced. Use a releasable adhesive so you can easily swap damaged planks out after each renter. I laid 2000 sqft in my house this year. It’s great product. No need to acclimate - the issue you’re experiencing is with your subfloor. Since this stuff floats, if the subfloor is not level, it will dip into the low spots when you step on it. A small dip isn’t a big deal, but if large enough it can cause boards to pop out. I usually look at the dealers more than the individual models. There are fly by night dealers whose whole business model is to get the lowest price by any means possible. Empire, Floor & Decor and LL Flooring are among them(seriously, google Lumber Liquidators and Formaldehyde[Lumber Liquidators changed their name to LL Flooring to distance themselves from their shady business practices that got exposed]) Any vinyl manufacturer can throw a cheap vinyl up with a 20mil wear layer so everything looks nice on the price tag. In my experience though, vinyls that are under $4/sf are much much more challenging to install…shit locking systems and non square planks. They save money on the stuff that doesn’t make it to the website and the price tag. I’d say it’s excellent choice for a gambler who prefers roulette over poker. Read the installation instructions COMPLETELY even if you aren’t installing it yourself and make sure the installer follows those instructions to the letter. You will be filing a claim within 2 years and they will be looking VERY hard to put it on the installer. More on reddit.com

Installer here. Core lux is good. Just a tip if you're going to install it yourself: what you have is spc not lvp. What that means is it's more durable but harder to cut than lvp, so I would recommend using power saws to cut with as opposed lvp, which can be scored with a knife and snapped apart. Also, if you're installing on a slab, a moisture barrier isn't always necessary unless you have a very wet subfloor or the manufacturer requires it to keep your warranty. More on reddit.com
