Find a chair you like and reverse image search the plain-est photo they have posted of it. A lot of times an image search will return basically the same chair from a more affordable site. Personally, I won't buy from Wayfair. Their return policy is awful and every single thing on their site you can find on another site under another brand name if you use image search. Bed Bath and Beyond now has similar inventory on their site and better shipping/returns. More on reddit.com

The trick with wayfair is sussing out the garbage. I’ve bought many items through work and personally. About 90% of what’s been purchased has worked out great, and the returns have been seamless and hasn’t cost me a thing. I do have a business account, so my experience may be different than a regular account.

If the price is too good to be true, it probably is. Adjust your expectations or spend more money.

If the description or spec sheet is lacking, find another option. Read as many reviews as you can as well. If there aren’t any reviews, you are taking a chance.

Pay attention to the measurements. I don’t understand how people order things and then find out a literal children’s chair gets shipped, or the bed is too large for their space. How?

Personally, if it is something I’m going to sleep in or sit in for extended periods, I will not buy sight unseen. Good bed frames aren’t cheap, and sofas have quite a range in comfort level. I would always advise a client to buy locally when it comes to these items, and get it in writing that I’ve warned against it if they argue.
