As a member working for a supplier selling furniture at both Wayfair and Amazon, I can tell you that might no difference. Wayfair basically has a high markup based on the wholesale costs because they need to cover the cost of shipping, partial aftersell service and marketing, and of course the margin. Wayfair has a average 30% margin from the goods they sold, that is a huge ratio for their suppliers. More on reddit.com

Having gone through the cheap outdoor furniture circuit, skip the cheap stuff. Just go for the sunbrella fabric high quality furniture. It's not worth it to repurchase outdoor furniture every couple years. We ended up getting a sectional from Terra Outdoor Living. Pricey--yes. But definitely worth it. More on reddit.com

April 23, 2025Trying to Find out the Difference Between These Two Sets of Patio Furniture
$1100. Both listings appear to have errors — they both state table top shape is square when it’s rectangular, and they both state in specs that cushions aren’t included, when the details seem to state they are. Guessing the cheaper option actually isn’t meant to include cushions. There could be other errors in the listings as well (such as the cheaper option is only meant to include 4 chairs). Doubtful phone support would be able to get a definitive answer on this, can pretty much guarantee that chat support can’t. More on reddit.com

General Story: Hey everyone, we are looking at patio furniture from Wayfair and was wondering if anyone here has some sets they recommend. We have some gift cards to Wayfair and figured we may as well use them on this.
The problem is, it seems that almost every "unique" listing on Wayfair has a copycat version nearby that's a significantly different price. As a result, we aren't sure which set is the best value since there may be the exact same set $200 cheaper buried within their site. We really like the conversational sets, but have come to terms with the fact that this furniture won't be top of the line. Thus, we are mainly looking for good value sturdy furniture that we will eventually put our own cushions on. Sturdiness is a must since a lot of these sets have a loveseat that can only support 400 or 500 lbs, which seems very low for a 2-seater.
