Are high-traffic plans exponentially more expensive?
Webflow hosting costs 🤔
How the pricing works?
Is Webflow free?
Is Webflow worth it?
Is Webflow cheaper than Squarespace?
Hi, dear Webflowers!
A very serious topic is ahead of you, so please read it closely or save it for when you have time.
Webflow Enterprise Plan is a topic that needs to be covered and discussed more often, as we only see two posts here on Reddit. (One being the fellow Redditor asking for help because he was paying $250 per month, and all of a sudden, Webflow "forced" him to a $65,000 per year plan.)
After that post, I contacted a good friend who owns a web development company that almost exclusively does Webflow. However, the projects they work on are more of artistic nature and get low-mid traffic, except for a couple of projects, until a couple of months ago, Webflow staff told him that he needed to move one of the websites (the one that is in that "exception" group to an Enterprise plan.)
Unfortunately, the price of the Enterprise Plan was extremely high five-figure range, bringing nothing new, innovative, or valuable to the table for that specific project (or any that he can think of).
We work with many big brands & companies who are still not using Webflow, and we're not so sure to move them to Webflow and do their redesign there, as the additional, let's say, $65,000 per year doesn't make sense for them or us. Going from $3,000 annually to $65,000 is wrong on many levels, as the websites run on AWS, and Enterprise features do not justify the price.
If someone wants us to make that big of a jump, at least we expect someone to specify why. Are we exhausting the bandwidth or something? Instead, when asked, they never pinpoint the reason directly.
Unfortunately, my friend paid for the high five-figure Enterprise plan, and the website still usually works. However, he hasn't seen any difference since he started paying for the Enterprise plan compared to the previous one.
Enterprise Plan pricing is always a well-hidden secret that you never learn about as it is not talked about publicly until it's "too late," and they convince you that you should persuade your client/s to move to it from their regular plan with public pricing to the Enterprise one.
-What are your thoughts, experiences, experiences of others, positives, and negatives on the Webflow Enterprise Packages?
Please add to the discussion as much as possible so we can create a valuable post that will help educate others and set realistic expectations before it's too late, as "but I didn't know" doesn't work with Webflow.
For others with nothing to add to the conversation, save the post and grab your popcorn and drink of preference! :D
