What Is a Website Builder?
A website builder is a service that lets you create a website, typically using software featuring a simple, drag-and-drop interface for positioning text, images, and videos. But why would you need one? On a personal level, you wouldn't want to send prospective employers to your Facebook page, so a website makes more sense as an online, customized resume. On a business level, you can quickly spin up a site to focus on sales. Another reason worth considering, for both personal and business purposes, is that building your own site means endless design choices. You have total control over the products and services you sell (and how they're delivered, too).
Furthermore, having a dedicated, real site makes a business appear more authoritative and trustworthy than a Facebook presence can on its own (though you should also consider those services as part of your online presence). It's as much an opening ante in the business world as having a business card for your company.

In EXPERTE.com's comparison, Wix came in first by offering what we believe is the best mix of user-friendliness, features, and design flexibility. Squarespace, which scores with high-quality design templates, and the CMS-builder hybrid Webflow, which makes it possible to create more complex websites, finished in second and third place.
What are the best website builders for small businesses? I’m starting a small business and now looking for the best website builders to create my own website. I want it to look professional and also help drive traffic. I plan to build the site myself, so I’m searching for a builder that’s easy to use but flexible enough for future needs.
I’ve been reading about different companies, but it’s confusing. Many seem good at first, but I’ve heard some business owners say that certain website builders don’t work well with HTML, or have limitations because they use drag-and-drop systems. I don’t want to face issues like that later.
I have a few questions:
What is the best website builder for small businesses?
Are there any good free website builders?
Should I go with a custom-built site or use a drag-and-drop builder?
Any website builders you recommend based on personal experience?
Any tips or advice would be super helpful! I want to pick a platform that works well long-term and won’t give me problems once my business grows. Thanks in advance!
Starting a tutoring business and would like to have a website simply to display information about pricing, what I offer etc. Its mostly just a place for me to display info, nothing too complex, so I am going to build it myself using a website builder. Which website builder is the best for this purpose?
The most complex component of the website would be that users can schedule lesson times automatically through the website. Im not sure if a website builder has the capability to integrate this feature but if so let me know
