I've mostly done Serve and MOs for MS, but due to recent... mistakes... I may not be welcome at my local store. As such, I need to diversify, and one thing I've been planning to learn is bill pay.
I've seen the terminals at various locations, mostly grocery stores. I have literally no idea how to use them. They're the self-service ones that have a touchscreen and a place to swipe a debit card. I'm talking about the ones described here. https://www.westernunion.com/us/en/pay-bills-in-person.html
Can someone walk me through this? I haven't been able to find much of anything on these little things.
Do you search for the bank that you're trying to pay or Visa/MasterCard? I know American Express isn't an option, but I have seen individual banks (like Bank of America) on the list as well as more general payees such as Visa.
Can you split tender on these?
What are the fees usually like? I spoke with an employee, and he seemed to indicate it was usually around a dollar for most payees, but he didn't seem that sure.
Sorry if I'm unveiling some coveted MS secret, and if I am, just let me know so I can delete this.
