December 15, 2021 - A significant development has been the creation of the WFO Plant List (WFOPlantList.org) to replace the long out-dated but frequently used Plant List v.1.1 (plantlist.org). The new WFO Plant List updates the higher classifications to follow the latest Angiosperm Phylogeny Group classification (APG IV) and the equivalents in bryophytes, gymnosperms and pteridophytes.
