For my first degree in 2019 they sent me a diploma, a plaque that says alumni 2019, a power bank that says WGU alumni and a nicer mug than they issued as a welcome gift that also says alumni.
When I got my masters I asked my mentor what the graduation gift was and he told me I must have been part of some trial program they decided not to roll out.
For my 3rd degree, I didn't even get a welcome gift this time. And I really wanted that blankie.

I attended in person. My drive was only 3 hours. It was worth it to me as this was the culmination of something I should have done many years ago. My family attended, so I had people to celebrate with. My ceremony was in Cincinnati and I thought the production was solid quality. They had a lot of WGU themed objects and picture opportunity locations. Overall, it was a good experience. Still wish I had completed my degree in time to go to Vegas, but I was still glad to have done it.
