I would reach out to Student Services and ask about the status. It should have been processed by now. Typically, your mentor will click on the "graduation recommendation" button, then a "graduation application" email will be auto-generated to you, asking for specifics, like how you want your name to appear on the diploma, etc. After you submit that application for graduation, it takes about 5-7 days to process the graduation. Your mentor will receive an email that you are officially graduated one day before you receive an email notification.

I recently graduated from WGU and will be heading overseas...does anyone know how I can order a notarized copy of my degree to be apostilled? And does it have to be apostilled in Utah or my home state? Trying to rush a bit here before I run out of time. Thank you!

In case anyone needs to know this in the future you can request this directly from records, there's no fee all you have to pay is 20$ to the state of Utah to apostille the documents (I did diploma and transcript for a total of 40$)...was super simple.

Look into copy certification in your state if it's a notarial act that can be done. You'll need a copy of your degree and a clear exact copy, notary will compare the 2 and notarize one. The authentication (apostille) gets attached to that. Look into your dept of State for more info on requirements.

When I graduated with my BS WGU provided a digital diploma. When I completed my MS (2023) they no longer offered digital diplomas. You should check with student services to see if they offer it anymore.
