Hi! i'm trying to get a sense of the timeline here since i submitted my graduation application on 6/2 and i was wondering how long it took for everyone to get their graduation applications approved?
Also, hoping to get my e-diploma and transcripts. It looks like the e-diploma comes from CeDiploma ... is this link available once our grad applications are approved? or how long does CeDiploma take to process that?
And for the transcripts- do they reflect in National Student Clearinghouse once the grad application is approved or does that also take a while?
thank you!!
Hey folks, I don't see it brought up here much but I know that I was wondering what the process of graduation is. Let me give you a quick rundown of how it went for me:
Saturday 9/8/18: Last capstone task is graded and met requirements, 100% of degree requirements completed. Made sure I had an appointment with my PM for Monday (she doesn't work on weekends)
Monday 9/10/18: Talked to my PM who congratulated me and did her magic to recommend me for graduation. Sent me a graduation survey which covered how I want my name spelled, where I want my diploma and official transcripts sent. Filled out the survey and submitted it the same day. Also filled out the expedite service for my shipping (multiple reasons, primarily so my USPS carrier doesn't bend the document putting it in my mailbox).
Tuesday 9/11/18: I think I lost access to my degree plan on this day. "You have already graduated therefore you will not have access to myDegree Plan."
Wednesday 9/12/18: No longer able to log into the WGU app on my iPhone, only for current students. Guess I can uninstall that then... Also looked at my unofficial transcripts and it shows my degree awarded on 9/11/18.
Thursday 9/13/18: Notification that my diploma has shipped overnight (expedited service) including the FedEx tracking info.
Friday 9/14/18: Diploma in hand!
If anyone has any questions on the process, let me know!
